Chris Hutchings (PKA Karl Zine) is a Producer/Composer/Songwriter based in London who creates
expansive and emotionally engaging music for Film, Artists, Television and Sync.
A multi-instrumentalist graduate of the Royal Academy of Music he thrives on the challenge of connecting people through music to stories and ideas.
In 2026 he will release his second solo album ‘Longtail’.
His first album ‘Hyper’ saw him nominated for the Music Producers Guild ‘Breakthrough Producer of the Year’.
He works regularly with artists, composers, editors, labels, sync agents, libraries and publishers creating a range of bespoke and catalogue music for use across various media.
For his recent catalogue work he won the award for ‘Best Hip Hop’ track at the Production Music Awards 2025.
